According to the felicitators, He was formally declared as Ovie- Elect, Saturday, 17th June, 2022 in a meeting of the Ovie- Council by the Otota of Mosogar Kingdom, Chief ( Sen) Ighoyota Amori the PDP flagbeare of Delta central senatorial district, after the Uduaka Ruling House and the Selection Committee presented their vaious reports which affirmed Chief Okpurhe as the winner of the contest by five aspirants. It was a glorious day for the people of Mosogar Kingdom after the announcement of the Ovie- Elect was received with wild jubilations by the entire people of Mosogar Kingdom.

EgbemaVoice gathered that, the Ovie- Elect is a graduate of University of Lagos, B.Sc Sociology, who worked and retired as Asst. Comptroller- General of Customs and Exercise.
