Mingo Takes over as augustine nzononye bows out, delivers assumption of office speech as chairman, kings and queens delta state intake july 2007
ASSUMPTION OF OFFICE SPEECH BY MR. FRIDAY MINGO, CHAIRMAN, KINGS AND QUEENS DELTA STATE INTAKE JULY 2007,
Distinguished members, esteemed executives, and fellow colleagues,
I am deeply honored and humbled to assume the mantle of leadership as Chairman of the Kings and Queens Delta State Intake July 2007.
First and foremost, I sincerely appreciate the outgoing executives led by Augustine Nzononye and all members whose dedication, commitment, and sacrifices have sustained this great platform over the years. Your contributions have laid a solid foundation upon which we will continue to build.
Our platform was established with noble aims and objectives to promote unity, friendship, welfare, and mutual support among members. Through this platform, we have stood by one another during times of joy and celebration, such as childbirth, child dedications, marriages, promotions, and other achievements. We have also supported ourselves during moments of grief, including the loss of parents, loved ones, and other challenges of life.
As I take over the leadership of this platform, I pledge to uphold the constitution of our group, work closely with the executive members, and carry every member along in the affairs of the association. My administration will be guided by transparency, accountability, unity, and fairness.
I wish to appeal to every member who may have one grievance or another to forgive, forget, and embrace the spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood. Let us put aside our differences and work together to build a stronger and more united association. Our collective strength lies in our unity.
I also encourage all members to bring forward constructive ideas and suggestions that will contribute to the growth and success of our association. Together, we can achieve greater milestones.
Furthermore, I wish to remind us that the success of this association depends largely on the commitment and contributions of its members. I therefore urge those who are yet to actively participate in our welfare contributions to do so. Without regular support and contributions, it becomes difficult for the platform to fulfill its obligations to members in times of need.
It is important to note that the law recognizes the right of police officers and members of the same intake to come together for lawful welfare and mutual assistance purposes. Such associations are permitted to promote unity, welfare, savings, and support among members, provided they operate within the provisions of the law and the regulations guiding the Nigeria Police Force.
As we move forward, let us remain committed to the ideals upon which this group was founded. Together, we will continue to support one another, strengthen our bond, and make our platform a model of unity and welfare.
Thank you all for your confidence and support.!
Long live Kings and Queens Delta State Intake July 2007,!!
Long live our unity and welfare!!!
Thank you and God bless you all.
Mr. Friday Mingo Chairman Kings and Queens Delta State Intake July 2007.
