OLU OF ITSEKIRI: the truth you need to knowLate Justice Author Prest; the weeping soul crying for second chance

OLU OF ITSEKIRI: the truth you need to know Late Justice Author Prest; the weeping soul crying for second chance  The Olu of Warri title breeding unrest in Warri over decades is the regrettable mistake of Late Justice Arthur Prest, a former Federal Minister of Communication in the first Republic and champion of Itsekiri Tradition and protector of Itsekiri Rights who was confidant of Olu of Itsekiri.  From beginning it's called Olu of Itsekiri and not Olu of Warri  Late Justice Arthur Prest who was a principal party to the change of the tittle Olu of Itsekiri to Olu of Warri in 1952 realised later in his lifetime that it was a very wrong decision. This error did he wail until his death and still weeping. Before his death he warned the Itsekiri people that unless the Ijaws and Urhobos of Warri are recognized by the Itsekiri as indigenes, there will be no peace. Late Arthur said this at the meeting of the Warri aborigines unity organization held in Warri in Septe...

The Chairman Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) Headquarters FCT-ABUJA Dear Sir, AN OPEN LETTER: A WAKE UP CALL TO EFCC ON DELTA STATE'S MISSING N1.3 TRILLION 13% OIL DERIVATION FUNDS This open letter arises from the continued silence by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on the N1.3 trillion of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission's (DESOPADEC) funds that was unlawfully diverted by the former governor of Delta State, Sen. BREAKING: “They’re Not Coming for Nnamdi Kanu — They’re Coming for You” — Obasanjo Warns Nigerians;

BREAKING: “They’re Not Coming for Nnamdi Kanu — They’re Coming for You” — Obasanjo Warns Nigerians; “Nnamdi Kanu Just Happened to Be Standing in Their Way to Jihad and the Islamization of Nigeria” He emphasized that Kanu’s resistance has been a major stumbling block to forces seeking to dominate and suppress other ethnic and religious groups across the nation. “Without Nnamdi Kanu, the entire Igbo land would have been conquered long ago. Nigeria would by now have become a completely Islamized country, with other tribes living under submission,” Obasanjo warned.  “Even the Yoruba nation would have been swallowed if not for the loud echo of resistance Kanu created. Love him or hate him, he has been the stone that refused to move,” he added.

#FreeNnamdiKanu Protest Exposes Tyranny and Erosion of Democratic Values in Nigeria,

*#FreeNnamdiKanu Protest Exposes Tyranny and Erosion of Democratic Values in Nigeria,* The recent #FreeNnamdiKanu protest in Abuja has once again revealed the deep cracks in Nigeria’s democratic system and law enforcement institutions. Rather than upholding the rule of law, the actions of the Nigerian Police Force during the peaceful demonstration appeared to undermine it—teargassing unarmed citizens exercising their constitutional rights. Such conduct is not only a breach of democratic principles but also a violation of Section 40 of the 1999 Constitution, which guarantees the right to peaceful assembly and association. The use of excessive force against peaceful protesters erodes public trust in law enforcement and exposes the widening gap between the government and the governed. Nigeria must learn from history—violent suppression of civil protests has often led to unrest, instability, and, in some cases, the collapse of governments. True leadership listens to the people,...
