Egbema Focus Group Demands Justice For Her kins Sons, Late Gagha John, and Samson Pere,

........Charges Akwa-Ibom and Edo states Governor's, Commissioner of police to intervene,

By EgbemaVoice,

Egbema Focus Group, the social cultural organization that advocating for Egbema kingdom development, has demanded justice for their kins Sons Late Engr. Comr. Gagha John Difiye and late Mr. Samson Pere who have being targeted unjustly killed with impunity in Uyo town, Akwa-Ibom and Benin City Edo states, calling on the Governor's Commissioner of police and other security agencies for the both state to bring the culprit to book,
Engr. Gagha John who hail from Polobubo Tsekelewu town, Egbema kingdom was gruesome murdered by group of people at Uyo town, Akwa-Ibom state capital, and one Mr. Samson Pere, hail from Gbolukanga town, Egbema kingdom, Ovia south west local Government Area of Edo state was beaten to death, by another group of people at Benin City, Edo state capital,

According to the publicity secretary of Egbema focus Group Comrade Tamara-Ebi Idaji said, the chronicles heartbreaking news of the innocent Egbema sons who was been killed unjustly on 24th day of December 2023, at different Niger Delta state, calling on the Akwa-Ibom state Governor and Edo state Governor and the two state commissioner to intervene and bring the culprit to the book,

The group said, While the Israelites were driven from their homeland by persecution, Egbema of today are driven by the hope of a better life. Like the Israelites, they defy the elements and brave the unknown, seeking a Promised Land of their own. But this land is not Canaan; it is the rest of the world.

From Edo, Delta, Ondo, Bayelsa, Rivers and Akwa-Ibom states in Niger Delta, Eastern part of the country to the western Nigeria and even Africa, Egbema have spread their wings and taken flight, searching for opportunities and a better life for themselves and their families.
They are a people of courage and resilience, persevering through hardship and holding fast to their dreams. They defy the weather conditions of their various places of refuge; whether freezing, snowy or scorching, Egbema man endure, focusing on how to earn their daily bread or to get higher certificates.

As a people, Egbema indigenes in Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers and Imo states, possess the vigour to devour the rigour of challenges confronting them anywhere they find themselves.

Egbema kingdom are unarguably one of the most migrating set of people in Niger Delta. They are five aboriginal Niger Delta states, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers and Imo states, out of nine, today millions of Egbema sons and daughters live abroad seen as doctor, nurses, lecturers, students and other productive youths ,

But in their voyage to ‘labour in exile’, little did they know that agents of death were waiting to shatter the dreams of some of them and send them to the great beyond.

In the last few years, about 15 Egbema Youths have been murdered extrajudicially in foreign land, neighboring kingdom, and states, The majority of these individuals were killed by non-state actors for no just reasons.

Unfortunately, no one seems to care about getting justice for these innocent Egbema sons whose major ‘sin’ was the fact that they deserted their fatherland to seek fortune elsewhere.

A reported from a good Samaritan in Uyo town Akwa-Ibom state, on 24th December, identified as owner of the hotel , he said his guest late Engr. Gagha John before burnt to death, he private parts was cutoff by the people, he was allegedly murdered by a group of Uyo people, neighbor to the hotel owner,

An ally to the deceased, identified as the Hotel owner, wrote on his Facebook handle, the wall and friends of Late Gagha John a Egbema son, Warri North local Government Area of Delta state, a Nigerian “was brutally murdered by a group of Uyo people,

He said, “They beatup Gagha in a pool of blood, token him to his hotel room and conducted search but nothing was found, they tied his hands up, and was beaten blue-black, full of blood, after go on and burnt him alive,

The good Samaritan had cried out, “ He said this should never be allowed to get swept under the carpet regardless of the relationship, tribes between Ijaws and Akwa-Ibom, This is so inhuman and barbaric! I can’t even think straight at the moment because of the horrific voice record I’m getting right now from the good Samaritan.”

Another news of gruesome murdered of Mr. Samson Pere respectively from Ugbolukanga Community, Egbema Kingdom, Ovia South West Local Government Area of Edo state, who was beaten up, killed in cold blooded at Benin city, Edo state on the 24th day of December, 2023. These drew the attention of the Egbema focus Group , the group demanding immediate justice for their are kins Sons, if culprit is not brought to book, the group promised that they will take action, no individuals have rights to take any one live in the Nigeria constitution, their sons has right to leave any state in the country,

Therefore, the Group in strong terms condemn the barbaric act and call for justice, warn against tribalism and ethnicity bias in Niger Delta, if the needed attention is not give it  will lead to disaffection in the region, nobody is highland, justice is answer, stated,

Senator Nwoko's Anioma State Agenda and Sustainable Peace in Delta State,

Senator Nwoko's Anioma State Agenda and Sustainable Peace in Delta State By Jim Derek Onokuta The quest for the creation of Anioma State by Senator Ned Nwoko has raised concerns about his approach and potential consequences for Delta State.  A trending video showed Senator Nwoko issuing instructions to State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, in a manner suggesting he wielded significant power and influence. This posture is crude, disrespectful, insensitive, and unacceptable. The Okpai Power Plant, which Senator Nwoko referred to, is neither a Delta State Government project nor under the control of Governor Oborevwori. The power plant is owned by a conglomerate of multinational companies and the federal government. Media reports indicate that the House of Representatives has resolved to investigate the abandonment of the $38.7 million NNPC-NAOC Joint Venture Okpai Independence Power Plant project Phase II. Deltans are perplexed by Senator Nwoko's outburst, beratin

Okpai Power Plant: Senator Nwoko Should Partner with Federal Government and Other Stakeholders,

By Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe Esq The Okpai Power Plant, located in Delta State, Nigeria, has been a subject of discussion in recent times, particularly with Senator Ned Nwoko's calls for its completion.  While the senator's enthusiasm for the project is commendable, it is essential to clarify the ownership structure and the role of stakeholders involved. The Okpai Power Plant is a joint venture between the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC), and other multinational companies. The federal government has a significant stake in the project, making it a national asset rather than a state-owned initiative. Recently, Senator Nwoko was reported to have berated Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, over the completion of the power plant. However, this approach is misguided, as the Delta State Government does not have direct control over the project. Governor Oborevwori is a Justice of the Peace, and his visionary lead
