Reacting to reports surrounding the incident, youth leader expressed deep concern over allegations that armed youth leader from Ogbinbiri was allegedly hired in connection with the killing of four young men, as contained in a voice recording reportedly linked to Mr. Felix Eyitoyo Bradley son to the owner of the village, According to the circulating allegations voice record, some individuals from Kokodiagbene Community and Ogbinbiri have been mentioned, although both communities have publicly distanced themselves from any involvement in the conflict through separate statements. SITUATION REPORT MURDER OF TRADITIONAL RULER OF OCHAA AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY IN OHAJI/EGBEMA LGA, IMO STATE Date: April 10, 2026 Time: Approximately 1600hrs Location: Opposite Assa Central School, Ohaji/Egbema LGA, Imo State A tragic and shocking incident occurred on the above date and time, involving the brutal killing of the traditional ruler of Ochaa Autonomous Community in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State. The victim, HRH Eze Ekwueme Paulinus Ekwueme, was reportedly ambushed alongside his entourage by unknown gunmen while returning to Owerri after attending a community meeting.
