Comrade Mrs. Bunajitei Ebiyekese Osagiede Describes the Exit of the Ogeja King as a Painful and Irreplaceable Loss
The Women Leader of the Egbema Youth Council, Comrade Mrs. Bunajitei Ebiyekese Osagiede, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing unto Glory of His Eminence Archbishop Prophet Dr. Lucky Amakporowei Kerenkerenwei, the Ogeja King, describing his departure at this time as a profound and irreplaceable loss to Egbema Kingdom, the Niger Delta and humanity at large.
In a condolence message, Comrade Mrs. Osagiede said the news of the transition of the revered spiritual father came as a painful shock, particularly at a time when his wisdom, prayers, guidance and fatherly presence were still greatly needed by the people.
She described the late Archbishop as a great servant of God, spiritual father, mentor, community icon and an uncommon personality whose life touched many people across generations.
According to the Egbema Youth Council Women Leader, the Ogeja King was a man whose influence extended beyond the church. His spiritual counsel, compassion, courage, humility and commitment to the wellbeing of his people earned him a special place in the hearts of many.
“The exit of His Eminence Archbishop Prophet Dr. Lucky Amakporowei Kerenkerenwei at this time is deeply painful. We would have wished to have him with us for many more years, but God, in His infinite wisdom, has called His servant home.”
She noted that while the physical presence of the revered Archbishop would be greatly missed, his legacy of faith, service, love, wisdom and positive influence will continue to speak for him.
Comrade Mrs. Osagiede further stated that the late spiritual leader's contributions to the Christian faith, human development and the advancement of the Egbema people would remain indelible.
“A great Iroko has fallen. His departure has created a vacuum that will be difficult to fill, but his footprints will remain. The lives he touched, the people he encouraged and the legacy he built will continue to tell the story of a remarkable man.”
She also commended the late Archbishop for his fatherly role in providing spiritual direction and encouragement to young people and members of the wider community.
On behalf of herself and the women and youths she represents, Comrade Mrs. Bunajitei Ebiyekese Osagiede extended heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, his wives, children and grandchildren, the Cherubim and Seraphim Healing Ministries, Awanba Community, Egbema Kingdom and the entire Christian community.
She prayed that Almighty God would grant the bereaved family the strength, comfort and fortitude to bear the loss of their beloved husband, father, grandfather and spiritual patriarch.
“We mourn his departure, we celebrate his life and we honour the great legacy he has left behind. May God Almighty grant His Eminence eternal rest and grant the entire family the strength to carry on his good works.”
