ABIALA RIVER KILLING: OGBINBIRI NATIONAL LEADERSHIP CONDEMNED THE KILLING, REQUEST LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCCIES TO FISH OUT THE PERPETRATORS, SUE FOR PEACE, NEGATES COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT.

As regards news of alleged killings in Abiala Community’s environ, under Ogbinbiri Federated Community in Egbema Kingdom, Ikpoba-okha Local Government Area of Edo State, the National Leadership of Ogbinbiri ably led by Hon Benedict Miyebi condemned the killing, it is barbaric and an act of criminality, the matter has been reported to the law enforcement agencies to fish out the perpetrators to face the rot of the law and called for calm; he also condoled with the immediate family members of those who were allegedly killed.

Hon Miyebi stated unequivocally that Ogbinbiri as a Federated Community has no connection with the said incident and shouldn’t be generalized. The act of an individual(s) in one of the villages under Ogbinbiri cannot be generalized. The Leadership further stated that modalities is being put in place to prevent escalation of violence in the said area.

“Ogbinbiri as a People is known for peace and will not in anyway support criminality or lawlessness within and outside her territory. We call on everyone to be calm for whoever is involved in the dastardly acts will be fished out to face the law accordingly, let’s not take laws into our hands, I plead with all and sundry,” he added.
