By EgbemaVoice,
The grassroots tour received a warm and encouraging reception in Jamagie and Ofunama clans, as the respective clan chairmen, Comrade Dandy Ukori of Jamagie Clan and Hon. Major Atigbi of Ofunama Clan, welcomed the delegation and expressed strong support for the ongoing Egbema Unity Movement.
In their separate remarks, the two clan chairmen reaffirmed the need for Egbema people to embrace unity, peaceful coexistence and collective responsibility, stressing that despite geographical boundaries and individual differences, the people remain one kingdom, united by a common heritage, culture, history and identity.
They emphasised that Egbema's strength lies in its ability to stand together, protect its shared heritage and work collectively towards the advancement of the kingdom.
The clan chairmen also expressed appreciation to the Egbema kingdom leadership, particularly the Egbema Leaders of Thought, the Egbema Traditional Council of Chiefs and the Regency Council, for demonstrating leadership and taking the bold initiative to embark on a kingdom-wide unity campaign.
They described the initiative as timely and commendable, noting that meaningful development, lasting peace and a stronger future for Egbema can only be achieved when all nine clans recognise their common identity and work together as one indivisible kingdom.
They further encouraged other clans and communities to embrace the initiative, participate actively in the reconciliation process and support genuine efforts aimed at strengthening relationships among Egbema people.
Their expressions of support added significant momentum to the movement's grassroots engagement, reinforcing the growing call for a united Egbema Kingdom.
ONE KINGDOM, ONE HERITAGE, ONE CULTURE, ONE PEOPLE, ONE DESTINY!
