MOSIEND: Western Zone Leadership Commends Tompolo, Tantita's, After Visit to Okosugbini Okosu-ama, Seeks Socio-Economic Development,

The leadership of MOSIEND Western Zone, after their visit to Gbaramatu Kingdom, took time to assess the pressing need for development in OKOSUGBINI / OKOSU-AMA community and other neighboring areas within Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State. They observed significant development gaps and are advocating for immediate attention to be given to these communities to address their urgent needs. The leadership urged relevant authorities, particularly the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), to prioritize development projects in these underdeveloped areas, which have been largely overlooked.
According to Comrade Graham S. Abulu, Chairman of the MOSIEND Western Zone, the state of underdevelopment and lack of significant government presence in the OKOSUGBINI / OKOSU-AMA community and surrounding areas is a matter of serious concern. He lamented the neglect these communities have faced over the years and called on the Delta State Government, the NDDC Commission, and other relevant agencies to prioritize and focus on the further development of these areas. Comrade Abulu stressed the need for concrete efforts to improve infrastructure and provide essential services to uplift the living conditions of the people in these communities.
He said, "We are also using this medium to thank High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, aka Tompolo GOC, the chairman of Tantita Security Services, Nigeria limited, for the relative peace we enjoy within the region of Delta State." Comrade Abulu emphasized the importance of this peace in creating an environment conducive to development and urged continued collaboration among stakeholders to maintain stability in the region.
We also extend our gratitude to the Director of Tantita Security Services, Chief Keston Pondi, for the employment and empowerment initiatives that have benefited our people across Delta State and the Niger Delta region at large.
In the same vein, Comrade Abulu stated, "We are using this medium to create better opportunities and encourage our youth in the Okosugbini / Okosu-ama community to stay away from restiveness within the region." He emphasized that the leadership of MOSIEND Western Zone believes in and trusts and leadership style of High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo and encouraged him to continue the good work. Comrade Abulu reiterated the commitment in fostering an environment that empowers the youth and promotes peace and stability in the community.
However MOSIEND Western Zone charges the state governments to prioritize the development of the Western Zone, which includes Edo, Delta, and Ondo States. He said,
