Egbema kingdom youth leader, Niger Delta Ex-agitators Comrade Darlington Agbe has congratulated the Agadagba of Egbema kingdom, His Royal Majesty (Amb), Meshack E. A. Ubabiri, (JP), The Bini Pere IV, on his coronation and presentation of staff of Office anniversary at Egbema palace, Ogbudugbudu town by the Delta state Government Dr. Sen. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, honourably represented by Deputy Governor Deacons Barr Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, on 19th January, 

In his goodwill messages to the Royal Majesty, Darlington wishes to extend his warmly congratulations to the Royal Majesty on his successful accension to the ancient throne of our ancestors, the Agadagba of Egbema kingdom.

He  thanked Egbema kingdom leadership as well as the traditional chiefs and other well- supporters who have made the coronation and presentation of staff of Office successful anniversary, commend every individuals or group, friends of the Egbema kingdom and particularly the Egbema leaders of thought (ELOT) for their longstanding support to the Egbema traditional institution, for not allowed history repeats itself,

FG Approves Salary Increase for Civil Servants,

By EgbemaVoice, The Federal Government has approved an increase of between 25% and 35% in salary Increase for Civil Servants on the remaining six Consolidated Salary Structures  The Salary Structure is the Consolidated Public Service Salary Structure (CONPSS), Consolidated Research and Allied Institutions Salary Structure (CONRAISS), Consolidated Police Salary Structure (CONPOSS), Consolidated Para-military Salary Structure (CONPASS), Consolidated Intelligence Community Salary Structure (CONICCS) and Consolidated Armed Forces Salary Structure (CONAFSS). It will be recalled that those in the Tertiary Education and Health Sectors had already received their increases which involved Consolidated University Academic Salary Structure (CONUASS) and Consolidated Tertiary Institutions Salary Structure (CONTISS) for Universities. By EgbemaVoice, Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, has said that the High Court building complex, Asaba, would be ready for inauguration in May as part of the projects to mark his administration's first year in office.  Governor Oborevwori, who disclosed this to journalists during inspection of the project on Tuesday, said he was impressed with the exterior finishing of the building but frowned at the poor interior finishing and told the contractor to ensure proper finishing of the project in readiness for inauguration in May.  The five-storey high court building has conference halls, chambers, a library, zoom room, computer laboratory, public and private elevators, holding cell for suspects, registry, canteen, car park and male and female convenience apartments.  Governor Oborevwori said: "The exterior is good and we are satisfied with it. Sheriff Oborevwori, Tuesday, said his administration remained stoically committed to the timely payment of pension benefits to retiring and retired personnel of the state's workforce.  Governor Oborevwori, who stated this at the swearing-in and inauguration of three new Special Advisers, Chairmen and members of boards in Asaba, urged the State Bureau for Pensions to be proactive in the discharge of its functions, and to promptly advise the government appropriately.  Those sworn-in as Special Advisers are Mr. Austin Ayemidejor, Mr. Sunny Jero and Mr. Emmanuel Osazuwa. Gbagi, a former minister of Education and an industrialist died at the age of 62. The Renowned Criminologist and senior lawyer died on Saturday May 4th 2024.
