Urges Politicians to Use Egbema Votes for Political Appointment,

Youths across the Egbema kingdom Warri North, Ovia south west, Ovia North East, Ikpoba Okha local Government Area Edo and Delta states have been warned to avoid being used as thugs by fraudulent politicians in the 2023 general election.
The Egbema focus group (EFG) the director of publicity Comrade Tamara-Ebi Idaji call on the Youths and Politicians on Friday during a press briefing in Ajakurama town, the traditional headquarters of Egbema kingdom, Ovia south west LGA, of Edo state.
He called on Egbema sons and daughters to come out en masse and vote for candidates of their choice, adding that this is the only way they could elect people of proven integrity to represent them at various levels of government. It an opportunity to display Egbema voting strength, and population, urge Egbema politicians to use Egbema people vote for Political appointment and development, charge them not to use Egbema people vote for lobby our right and godfatherism in Warri North and Ovia south west LGAS, Egbema sons and daughters deserve to be appointed as commissioner and secretary General to the State, Egbema people are qualified for elective position, as we have been voting for others, it is time to decide for our future in Egbema kingdom, it time use our vote draw higher institution, enough is enough for voting under particular individuals in Warri North and Ovia constituencies, stop be an errand boy to politicians,
He said: “We must, therefore, distance ourselves from being employed as thugs and agents of election violence to align with what pleases our creator. It is more honourable to go out to our polling units on Election Day, cast our votes peacefully and allow democracy to take centre stage.
“Again, as Egbema and Ijaw generally we are very much aware that God enthroned leaders, hence the need to avoid it-must-be-me or it-must-be-my-candidate syndrome. We must be patient and allow God will prevail in all that we do, including the electoral process.” I implore all sons and daughters to think how far my political carrier will Development Egbema kingdom,
He stressing further that's our politicians must stand firm to defend our results and population, our voting strength have been stolen for years, all representative of the polling units, must submit his or her results to his Governorship candidates, and presidential candidate, politics all about agreement, and contribution,

Comrade Tamara-Ebi used the medium to call on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to ensure a transparent and smooth process whose outcome will be acceptable to all stakeholders.
He further advised security agencies to be on top of their game and watch out for mischief makers, vote buyers and perpetrators of allied electoral offences to ensure a hitch-free process.
Commenting on the lingering scarcity of naira in Nigeria, Tamara-Ebi called on President Muhammadu Buhari to direct the Central Bank governor, Godwin Emefiele to ensure the circulation of more of the newly redesigned naira notes to ease the current hardship being experienced by Nigerians as election kick off tomorrow 25th February,
“Nigerians are currently going through a difficult time arising from scarcity of cash. Added to the issue of unavailability of cash are the scarcity and high cost of petroleum products especially Egbema kingdom a riverine Communities suffering seriously. Efforts should be geared towards providing succour to the populace in this area as scarcity of petrol will substantially affect the massive turn out of the 2023 elections in the country,” he stated
