By EgbemaVoice, The wife of Amb Jude Ebitimi Ukori, Mrs. Jemima Kenawerekumor, Nee Orubebe has been laid to rest in Ogbobagbene community, Burutu Local government area of Delta State. EgbemaVoice News report that, Ogbobagbene which is the country home of the Former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe, witnessed an inflow of bereaved sympathizers, friends, and family members durring the burial ceremony after she passed away on the 2nd of April 2024 after a brief illness. The body of the departed clergy arrived at her father's compound in a motorcade and was thereafter taken to Glory Sanctuary Hall for a Christian funeral service. Before the procession to her compound where she was interred, highly reputed religious leaders including Arch Bishop Ogbuji Igwe, Bishop David Adomi, Rev. Mrs Ngozi Ogbuji, Rev. Gov Oborevwori mourns Onyeobi ,

Sheriff Oborevwori has commiserated with the Onyeobi family and people of Asaba over the passing of the Iyase of Asaba, Chief Patrick Onyeobi.  The late Onyeobi who passed on at 90 was a former Secretary to Government and Head of the Civil Service of the defunct Bendel State.  Until his passing, he was the Diokpa of Idumuojei village, Umuezei Quarters, Asaba.  In the condolence message by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, Governor Oborevwori expressed sadness over the passing of Onyeobi.  The Governor in the statement said; "the passing of Chief Patrick Onyeobi is a big blow to his family, Idumuojei village, the people of Asaba and Delta State, considering his immense contributions to the traditional institution in the state capital".  He described the late Onyeobi as a "fine gentleman, model administrator and community leader with impeccable leadership qualities" who contributed to the g

Arrest Evasion: Police Detain Ex-Gov Bello’s Female ADC, Others,

The arrest of the female Police officer occurred alongside several other policemen attached to the embattled former governor. The officers were taken into custody on suspicion of aiding and abetting Bello’s escape from EFCC operatives, who besieged his Abuja home for his arrest on Wednesday.
