Delta: CP Olufemi Abaniwonda ban on sale, use, and display of fireworks, including “knock-out, “banger,” during the Yuletide season.


The Delta State Police Command, led by CP Olufemi Abaniwonda, has reiterated the ban on the sale, use, and display of fireworks, including “knock-out” and “banger,” during the Yuletide season. The ban aims to prevent criminal activities and ensure public safety.  

Parents, guardians, and retailers have been warned against using or selling fireworks, with violators facing arrest and prosecution. Police officers across the state have been directed to enforce the ban strictly.
