18TH JUNE, 2022 Inline with the decision of the Eastern zone stakeholders that the factions of Ibim Ibiwari and Tamuno Kpokpo and all structures be dissolved which was later affirmed in the Congress that took place in Eastern Obolo on 28th May, 2022. President of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) worldwide, Dcn.(Comr.) The lawmakers accused the deputy governor of gross misconduct, abuse of office, financial recklessness, abandonment of office and official duties, and insubordination. 2023: FHC REFUSES TO GRANT INTERIM INJUNCTION SOUGHT BY EDEVBIE,

By Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe Esq Former governorship aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olorogun  David  Edevbie has approached a Federal High Court, FHC, Abuja, over issues relating to governorship party primary in Delta State. He filed a case and asked Court to grant injunctions against declared winner of the Guber primary and Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, and that he (Edevbie) should be substituted to replace Rt Hon Oborevwori. The Court refused the application and asked that Hon Oborevwori and the other parties; PDP and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, should be put on notice to thrash out the application on Tuesday, 22nd June, 2022. PDP Denies Picking Wike As Atiku’s Running Mate, Says Consultation Still Ongoing

By EgbemaVoice Nigerians have expressed divergent reactions over the reports that the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has picked Nyesom Wike as running mate to its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.  EgbemaVOICE reports that the committee set up by the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to pick Atiku Abubakar’s running mate settled for Wike. Wike was floored Ifeanyi Okowa, Delta state governor, to emerge as Atiku’s running mate. Wike won by a whopping 16-3 vote and Okowa only got 3 votes.
