Hon. Fred Martins, representing Warri North Local Government Area in the Delta State House of Assembly, has come under tense criticism from Comrade Graham Abulu, Chairman of the movement for the survival of the Izon ethnic Nationality in the Niger Delta (MOSIEND) Western Zone.
Comr. Abulu former Delta state house of Assembly candidates has expressed total disappointment, failure in democratic advocacy over Martins' lack of tangible achievements in office, emphasizing that Warri North, an oil-rich local government area, remains underdeveloped despite its significant contributions to Delta State's economy.
Abulu lamented that a man can only give what he has, Hon. Martins has not sponsored even a single bill or facilitated meaningful projects for the council area, leaving the people in Zero political pedestrian and without much-needed progress and development. He called for a renewed focus on leadership and accountability, urging Martins to wake up to his responsibilities and fulfill the expectations of his constituents,
The MOSIEND Western Zone chairman stressed the urgent need for genuine elected representatives that prioritize the welfare of their people, particularly in regions like Warri North that play a vital role in the state’s oil and gas sector.
