The Ajakurama Development Initiative (ADI) proudly congratulates Commissioner of Police (CP) Arotu B. Pere on his well-deserved promotion to the esteemed rank of Commissioner of Police (CP).

Speaking to newsmen, the National President of ADI, Comrade Mingo Meshach Sayami, expressed his heartfelt congratulations to CP Pere, acknowledging his exceptional leadership, unwavering commitment to peace, and immense contributions to the development and security of the Egbema Kingdom and beyond.

Comrade Sayami described CP Pere as a visionary leader, a critical stakeholder in the affairs of Egbema Kingdom, and the first Commissioner of Police from the Kingdom. He lauded CP Pere’s humility, dedication to service, and remarkable ability to foster peace and unity in communities under his jurisdiction. According to him, “This promotion was most expected and is a recognition of CP Pere’s years of diligence, professionalism, and selfless service to the Nigerian Police Force and the nation at large.”

The Oba’s alleged attempt to assert authority over other ethnic nationalities in Edo State, particularly the Ika people of Iganke Ndi Eze, is viewed as an abominable act, not only in the Niger Delta but in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. Recently, the Oba of Benin reportedly ordered the people of Iganke Ndi Eze to submit to the authority of an Odiower under his leadership.
