The Ofunama community and the entire Egbema Kingdom have been plunged into mourning following the passing of a prominent leader, Chief Threepence Vero Soko, The Erela ere 1, of Egbema Kingdom, who slept in the Lord on January 8, 2025, after a brief illness.

A family representative, Comrade Agbedeyi Odimientimi Desmond, her son and a Principal Lecturer at Delta State Polytechnic, Uku, disclosed this to The EgbemaVoice News, said that, further details regarding the burial arrangements will be made known to the general public in due course.
