The six major clans of Egbema Kingdom—Ofunama, Ajakurama, Gbeuba, Abere, Jamagie, and Gbolukanga—have faced decades of deprivation and marginalization, despite their substantial contributions to the political and economic landscape of Edo State. These communities have long supported the state through resources and active political engagement, yet they continue to struggle with inadequate infrastructure, limited access to basic amenities, and a lack of development initiatives. The people of Egbema Kingdom hope that this new government will recognize their sacrifices and work toward ending the persistent neglect of their region.
