It is with deep sorrow and profound gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend — Mary Saintobou Temile (née Eko) — who departed this world on the 10th of March, 2025, in Sapele, Delta State.

Saintobou lived a life marked by quiet strength, compassion, and unwavering faith. She was a woman of substance — devoted to her family, generous in spirit, and gracious in every step she took. Her presence brought warmth to all who knew her, and her absence is deeply felt by those she left behind.

Born into the Eko family, Saintobou carried her roots with pride and passed down values of integrity, humility, and love to all around her. As a wife, she stood as a pillar of partnership and commitment; as a mother, she was nurturing, prayerful, and strong — always putting the needs of her children before her own. Her love knew no bounds.

Mary Sainitobou Temile was not only a woman of family, but a woman of her community. She gave freely of her time, wisdom, and resources, and was always ready with a listening ear and helping hand. In times of joy, she celebrated with you; in moments of hardship, she stood by you.

Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the lessons she taught, and the memories we will forever cherish. Though she is no longer with us in the flesh, her spirit remains — in our hearts, in our homes, and in the countless stories of her kindness and quiet strength.

We take comfort in knowing that Mary now rests in eternal peace, reunited with those who went before her, and embraced by the love of her Creator. Her journey on this earth may have ended, but her light shines on.

Rest in perfect peace, Mummy Mary. You are deeply loved and forever missed.
