With hearts overwhelmed by sorrow, the 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲, 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐛𝐚 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬, announces the passing of our dearly beloved 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧, 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐒𝐧𝐫. 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐧. 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢 𝐎𝐤𝐨𝐫𝐨, who slept in the Lord on the night of October 4th, 2025, at Ajakurama, Edo State, Nigeria.

Awanba Zion is wrapped in grief. The drums of praise are silent, and tears flow like rivers of lamentation. A devoted soldier of Christ has finished his race. Snr. Boan. Posi Okoro was a man of faith, discipline, and humility, loyal beyond measure to the ministry and to the Minister.

He served selflessly, stood firmly, and loved deeply. His loyalty was unbroken, his devotion unwavering. His sudden departure has left a void words cannot fill. The entire Awanba family mourns in disbelief, yet bows before the sovereignty of God.

Rest on, faithful servant of Zion. Your light shall never fade. Your legacy will live forever in the heart of Awanba.

By EgbemaVoice  A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, Oba Maduabuchi, has described the suit filed at the Federal High Court, Abuja, challenging the eligibility of former President Goodluck Jonathan to contest the 2027 presidential election as an abuse of court process. Speaking on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Tuesday, Maduabuchi said the issue of Jonathan’s qualification had already been settled by a competent court in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, and no appeal has been filed against that judgment. He stated that until the existing judgment is overturned, it remains the valid legal position, adding that anyone attempting to relitigate the matter is “simply abusing the process of the court and is a busy body”.
