National association of presidential Amnesty student worldwide (NAPAS), held presidential Amnesty day celebration at Edwin Clark University, kiagbodo town, Burutu local Government Area of Delta state, the outgoing president of the association, Comr. Ebidouwei Messiah Miyenpirigha, made an opened remarks by thanking God for the success of the event and acknowledging the presence of dignitaries including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, NSA Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, PAP Administrator Chief Dennis Otuaro, and other notable leaders, traditional rulers, and guests.
He reflected on his tenure as president, noting both challenges and achievements. Among the key accomplishments was the distribution of laptops to final-year students and the increase in the number of students deployed to universities nationally and internationally under the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP).
He expressed gratitude to the PAP Administrator, his team members, and various supporters such as Sir Edgar Biu, Chief Aroni Oputu, Amb. Gen. Preye Ekpebide, Gen. Tam Godspower Odogu, Sir Jonathan Lokpobiri Snr, Comr. Nicholas Igarama, and others for their cooperation and contributions.
As he prepares to hand over leadership, he expressed confidence in the incoming executives to continue building on the achievements made. Remarks partly reads,

First and foremost, I praise the name of our Lord Jesus Christ for making this event a success. Good afternoon, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, National Security Adviser, Chief Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, Administrator, Presidential Amnesty Programme, Chairman of this historic event, Amb. Gen. Preye Ekpebide, National Chairman PAP Phase 3 ably represented by his aide, Gen. Reuben Efiri, the royal father of the day, HRM. Samuel Akpomiemie Fuludu, Ogiogio II, Pere of Ngbilebiri-Mein Kingdom, the chief host, Prof. Samuel Tita Wara, Vice Chancellor Edwin Clark University, the guest speaker, Prof. Benjamin Ogele Okaba, President, Ijaw National Congress, represented by his secretary Comr. Tarikerekere William, the Commissioner for Ijaw Affairs, Bayelsa State, HRM Barr. Godspower Tam Oporomo, the Pere Tara-Eza 1 of Kerebiri-Mein Kingdom, Chief Barrister Soja Smooth, Chief Aroni Oputu, Chairman PAP phase 1, distinguished guests, my amiable colleagues, friends, and men of the press, gentlemen, and ladies.
It is with a heart full of gratitude and deep reflection that I stand before you today as the outgoing president of this great association. Today marks not just the end of my tenure but also the beginning of a new chapter in our collective journey to guide and direct the elected executive henceforth.
When I assumed office, we faced both challenges and opportunities together. Through the cooperation, dedication, and unity of every committed and selfless members in our reverend noble association, we have been able to achieve remarkable progress such as the learning gadgets (laptop) that was given to the final year students this year. Together, we strengthened our values, advanced our mission, and built a stronger association for those who are ready to learn from our little experiences.
I wish to sincerely thank the administrator of PAP for granting our request by given the final year students laptop to eased our learning and research project, and increasing geometrically the numbers of students deployed to various universities nationally and internationally 2024 and 2025, I also extend my gratitude to my team members, our partners, and everyone who stood by me the like of Sir. Edgar Biu, the Technical Assistant to the Administrator of PAP, Chief Gen. Aroni Oputu, Amb. Gen. Preye Ekpebide, Gen. Tam Godspower Odogu, Sir. Jonathan Lokpobiri Snr, the President Ijaw Youth Council, Comr. Nicholas Igarama, Chairman, IYC Western Zone, Hon.Barr. Tare Porri, Dr. Carl M. Seiyaibo who stood by me throughout my administration. Your support made my successful administration and handover possible seamlessly.
As I prepare to hand over the mantle of leadership, I do so with confidence that our incoming executive will continue the work we began and will take NAPAS Worldwide to an enviable heights.
Conclusively, thank you all for the privilege you gave me to serve and learn another stage of life. It has been an honour leading such a strategic association, orchestrated primarily for the welfare of PAP scholarship students and protecting the programme at every point in time.
