CHAPTER ONE: ORIGIN AND MIGRATION HISTORY

The founding ancestor of the Ajakurama (Ajakoro-ama) Clan in Egbema Kingdom, spanning present-day Edo and Delta States, traces origin to the Proto-Ijo communities of the central Niger Delta.

The earliest ancestors came from Azagbene (Ekeremor LGA, Bayelsa State), among the first Proto‑Ijos who migrated from Amatu (Iduwini) and later from Gbekebo (Mein).

From this line came Pa. Egbema, founder of Egbema Kingdom. His descendants established communities such as:

Opuama

Bolou/Jamagie (present Abadigbene)

Ogbudugbudu

Ajakurama (Ajakoro‑ama)

The founder of Ajakurama Mama Jer Royal Highness Ekpeku Efeikurimokumoh daughter of the Egbema Royal Line and priestess of Egbesu.

Nigeria fails in their quest to qualify for the world cup,

By EgbemaVoice, Nigeria super eagles suffered a major setback in their bid to qualify for the world cup billed to hold in Canada, Mexico and US. The dream of making it to the intercontinental playoffs was halted by a disciplined and highly focused DR Congo team. Nigeria had taken the lead early on via Frank Onyeka but grew complacent as the game went on with DR Congo pressing and eventually getting their reward in the 32nd minute. The game will go on into extra time and then penalties with DR Congo eventually becoming victorious in the shootout. The defeat is a tale of missed opportunities and unseriousness which Nigerians have seen before even during the qualifying stages. This will mean that Nigeria has failed to qualify for the world cup consecutively. Moral lesson: Determination, Focus and Seriousness brings results, something the Nigerian national team is lacking.
