Alhaji Omoko: A True Niger Delta Pathfinder as Youth Leader Applauds Bolowei of Egbema Kingdom for Landmark Police station and Residential Apartments Projects
The Niger Delta Youth Leadership, under the leadership of Comrade Mingo Meshach Sayami Ogumaka, has strongly applauded and celebrated the Bolowei of Egbema Kingdom, Hon. Emmanuel Omoko (popularly known as Alhaji), for his visionary, people-centered, and exemplary leadership, demonstrated through the construction of critical security and residential infrastructure in Egbema Kingdom.
The youth leader described the feat as historic and unprecedented, following the completion and commissioning of a fully furnished, solar-powered Opuama Police Station, alongside two-bedroom, four self-contained residential apartments in Opuama Town, Opuama Clan, Egbema Kingdom, Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The project was formally commissioned by the former Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Baba (rtd), with official representation from the incumbent IGP, Kayode Egbetokun. Also in attendance were the former Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Olufemi, represented by ACP Bassy, the Sapele Area Commander, retired Assistant Inspectors General of Police, and other distinguished personalities.
The Delta State Government was represented by the Commissioner for Housing, Godknows, underscoring the importance of the project to peace and development in the state.
Speaking on behalf of Niger Delta youths, Comrade Ogumaka described Alhaji Omoko as “the Bolowei of the Niger Delta”, a man whose heart is golden, whose leadership is rooted in integrity, honour, and selfless service, and whose commitment to the security and wellbeing of the people is beyond politics.
“Alhaji Omoko is not just a leader; he is a hero of our time, a blessing to the Ijaw nation and the entire Niger Delta. His actions have restored hope, strengthened security, and reaffirmed faith in purposeful leadership,” the youth leader stated.
He further emphasized that the Bolowei’s intervention has directly touched the lives of Egbema sons and daughters, creating safer communities and laying a solid foundation for sustainable development in the kingdom.
The Niger Delta Youth Leadership noted that at a time when communities yearn for responsible leadership, Alhaji Omoko has chosen action over rhetoric, leaving behind a legacy that will stand the test of time.
The statement concluded with a call on leaders across the Niger Delta to emulate the Bolowei of Egbema Kingdom by prioritizing security, community development, and people-oriented governance.
