Warri – EgbemaVoice News joins the Niger Delta and the entire Ijaw Nation in celebrating the Agbagbatuwa Pouye of Arogbo Ijaw Kingdom, Kingsley Kemebradigha Kuku, former Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), as he marks his birthday anniversary today, February 14.

Dr. Kuku remains one of the most influential figures in the modern Niger Delta struggle. From grassroots activism to national leadership, his voice has consistently resonated in defense of justice, equity, and sustainable development for the oil-producing communities.

During his tenure as Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr. Kuku spearheaded youth empowerment initiatives, scholarship programmes, vocational training, and strategic reintegration efforts that significantly strengthened peace and stability across the region.
His leadership is widely credited for consolidating the gains of the Amnesty Programme and restoring hope to thousands of Niger Delta youths.

BREAKING: The High Court of Delta State has issued an ex-parte injunction stopping and barring the Inspector General of Police and the Nigeria Police Force from resuming the enforcement of the tinted glass permit policy nationwide. The order was issued on Wednesday, 17th December, 2025 by Hon. Justice Joe Egwu. The High Court also barred the police from harassing, arresting, detaining or extorting citizens and motorists on account of the said policy. The order will subsist pending the hearing and determination of the substantive suit. This latest injunction follows a suit filed in Delta State by the Applicant, a citizen by name Mr. Israel Joe. The Applicant was represented in court by a team of lawyers led by Kunle Edun, SAN. By this order, the announcement made by the Nigeria Police on its decision to resume the tinted glass permit enforcement on 2nd January, 2026 has been halted by the Court.

JUST IN: Court reject bid to halt David Mark _ Led ADC's convention progresses  By EgbemaVoice, The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Friday, declined an application seeking to restrain the African Democratic Congress, led by Senator David Mark, from holding conventions, congresses or meetings to elect or ratify members of its executive bodies and other party structures. Justice Emeka Nwite, in a ruling, refused the motion ex parte filed by a former Deputy National Chairman of the ADC, Nafiu-Bala Gombe, holding that granting such an application without hearing from the other parties would amount to overreaching. “I have listened to the submission of the learned counsel for the applicant and have also gone through the affidavit evidence with exhibits thereto along with the written address,” the judge said.
