The Ajakurama Development Initiative (ADI), popularly known as Ajakuramavoice, has extended warm felicitations to its Vice President, Comrade Follet Thikan, the immediate past Chairman of Ajakurama Community, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary today, 15th February.

In a congratulatory message signed by the President of the Initiative, Comrade Mingo Meshach Sayami Ogumaka, the organization described Comr. Follet Thikan as an educationalist, grassroots mobilizer, and a great unifier whose leadership has continued to inspire hope and development within Ajakurama Clan.
According to the statement, Comr. Thikan is a man of integrity, a fearless and visionary leader, and a passionate community lover who has consistently demonstrated commitment to the growth, unity, and advancement of Ajakurama and its neighboring communities.

“Comrade Follet Thikan remains a vocal and committed son of Ajakurama Clan. His exceptional service as Community Chairman and his continued dedication to community development are worthy of recognition and celebration. He has distinguished himself as a bridge-builder, bringing people together for collective progress,” the statement read.

The Initiative further acknowledged his unwavering contributions to educational advancement, youth engagement, and peace-building efforts within the clan, describing him as a symbol of responsible leadership and selfless service.

On behalf of Ajakurama Clan and the entire Ajakurama Development Initiative, Comrade Mingo Meshach Sayami Ogumaka joined family members, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating “the people’s own leader” on this special occasion.

The organization prayed for greater strength, divine protection, wisdom, and abundant blessings for Comr. Follet Thikan as he continues to serve humanity and contribute meaningfully to the development of Ajakurama and beyond.

BREAKING: The High Court of Delta State has issued an ex-parte injunction stopping and barring the Inspector General of Police and the Nigeria Police Force from resuming the enforcement of the tinted glass permit policy nationwide. The order was issued on Wednesday, 17th December, 2025 by Hon. Justice Joe Egwu. The High Court also barred the police from harassing, arresting, detaining or extorting citizens and motorists on account of the said policy. The order will subsist pending the hearing and determination of the substantive suit. This latest injunction follows a suit filed in Delta State by the Applicant, a citizen by name Mr. Israel Joe. The Applicant was represented in court by a team of lawyers led by Kunle Edun, SAN. By this order, the announcement made by the Nigeria Police on its decision to resume the tinted glass permit enforcement on 2nd January, 2026 has been halted by the Court.
