RE-NPF AND OTHER PFAs PROPOSAL OF 80% LAST SALARY AS PENSION FOR RETIRED POLICE OFFICERS: A PRELUDE TO STOP PRESIDENT ASSENT TO THE NPF EXIT BILS:

RE-NPF AND OTHER PFAs PROPOSAL OF 80% LAST SALARY AS PENSION FOR RETIRED POLICE OFFICERS: A PRELUDE TO STOP PRESIDENT ASSENT TO THE NPF EXIT BILS:

This is the Correct position on the current events towards aborting our Exit from the CPS. If anyone do not know what is happening against our bill, he should desist from castigating those who are following up and doing their bits towards our winning the war.

You can win battles but loose the War at last. This is what has been happening to us previously. This time we must not relent, limit or restrict ourselves.

Those who are trying to take glory for a war not yet won are deceiving themselves and misleading others, pls.

NPF Pensions and others are conducting Pre-retirement lectures for intending retirees and deceiving them to reject the exit from CPS, promising to secure the payment of 80% of their last Salary as Pension. They induce these unsuspecting Officers to accept their evil proposals in place of exit. They take pictures and induce them to make comments against the Exit Bills with a view of presenting the Pictures, Video and comment ignominiously made out of experience by the intending RETIREES, to the President and other power brokers, to deceive them to concur with the claims that "majority of the NPF Personels, both serving and retired, prefer CPS and are against the exit. That those agitating for exit are sponsored by Political opponents/enemies of the ruling party and government"

This is the impetus and audacity, the Clerk of the National Assembly, backed by some powerful Members, have in witholding the forwarding of the NPF exit bills, to the President for assent, despite being passed and harmonized by the NASS.

It is pertinent to not that these people are not magnanimous to the Retirees, NPF or the Security interest of Nigerians, but only driven by and the mindfulness of the Selfish, greedy and exploitative interest of the Private Profit Motives of the PFAs their Major Financiers and Sponsor, which can only cease at death.

The Benefits of NPF Exits are:

1) The exit Terms will be backed up by law that can not be altered at the whims and Caprices of any government or
Political interest.
2) The Retirees Pension will be increased proportionately, along with others in the Defined Benefits Scheme, at every salary increase, based on inflation and existing Currency exchange level.
3) Police Retirees Gratuity and Pension will soon be considered based on the risk and hazards involved, to encourage and spur the Members of the Public to enlist or encourage their children and relatives to enlist in the Police. With what we have currently members of the Public, especially Retired Police Officers are discouraging their intelligent and competent relatives to enlist. This leaves the stage for mediocre and hooligans to infiltrate the NPF especially at the Recruit Constable level, due to lack of other options. Garbage in garbage out will be the aftermath. This class of of recruits will strive to acquire their benefits in service, by compromising their duty and do not need to work for retirement benefits. Nigerians, including the rich and the political Lords in government will bear the blunt. Failure to invest in Security is investment in insecurity, tacit and taciturn.

ETC....

The oath of allegiance/Service and Rules of engagement of the Military, DSS and other Security agencies exited from the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) to the Defined Benefits Scheme DBS) are same with the NPF. The Oath and the rule of engagement mandates the Personnels of the agencies to unreservedly Commit their Life and Liberties to the Protection of Nigeria Territory, Life and Properties of Residence. The Police additionally are also charged with the duty of maintaining and enforcing Law and Performing all Military duties which they are directly charged within and outside Nigeria. Police embodies the Coercive Power of Government to Provide Security and maintain Law and order and Constitutionally the funding and Renumeration ( Salary and Retirement Benefits are subject to be directly charged from the Consolidated Revenue Fund, just like the army.
On what justification is the decision to pay the Retirement Benefits of the Military, DSS, etc, With DBS while the NPF are Subjugated under the CPS and in whose interest, this discriminatory Policy taken by the Government.
Surely not for the Patriotic interest of Nigerians who deserves effective and Professional Security Service delivery from their Police. This is a complete design to sink the NPF Personels, in a State of Poverty, in Service and Retirement. The architects of this unpatriotic Policy believes that the poor and frustrated and Financially incapacitated Police Personnel will be devoid of the ability and confidence in enforcing the Law judiciously against High and mighty - Cabals, who have imposed their interest, to supercede the interest of Nigerians.
The facts adduced in this Conspiracy theory are clear fallacy, Concocted to defend and advance the greedy and fraudulent interest of those benefitting from the genocidal State of the dying Retired Police Officers in the CPS. Why are they not saying the same for the army and DSS.

I will soon conclude my Position paper on this, for publication pls.

Thanks
High Chief Onyeike Chukwuma Marvellus, SP Retd.

We state categorically that traditional institutions, sacred symbols, and royal tools are not for sale. They are divine inheritances, deeply rooted in the gods and ancestral spirits of the land, and must never be subjected to financial manipulation or external influence. Any attempt to commercialize the sacred Seimbiri stool is a direct affront to our ancestral values, cultural ethics, and collective identity as a people. The Seimbiri Clan remains one of the most ancient, revered, and structured traditional institutions in Western Ijaw history. Its kingship process is guided ...
