CONFIDENCE SISTERS CLUB (CSC) CELEBRATES FIRST ANNIVERSARY, TOUCHES LIVES IN DELTA
By EgbemaVoice,
Agharh Town in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State came alive on 21st February 2026 as the Confidence Sisters Club (CSC) marked its one-year anniversary with a remarkable humanitarian outreach that left a lasting impact on the community.
The well-attended event drew women, men, youths, and traditional chiefs from Agharh and neighboring communities, creating an atmosphere of unity, celebration, and compassion. What began as an anniversary celebration quickly transformed into a powerful demonstration of service to humanity.
The club treated guests and beneficiaries to generous hospitality, including food, entertainment, and cultural music performances. However, the highlight of the event was the distribution of relief materials to the vulnerable. Elderly women received beautifully packaged wrappers, while bags of rice were distributed to less-privileged families and youths in need.
Delivering her welcome address, the Chief Executive Officer of CSC, Mrs. Rita Aluya, expressed profound gratitude to members of the club for their commitment, resilience, and shared vision over the past year. She also appreciated sponsors and supporters at home and in the diaspora whose financial and moral contributions ensured the success of the anniversary celebration.
In an inspiring gesture that underscored the club’s mission of “Touching Lives,” Mrs. Aluya went beyond material distribution by pledging to sponsor the school fees of underprivileged children and support the feeding of vulnerable children within the community. Her announcement was met with applause and heartfelt prayers from beneficiaries, who described her leadership as compassionate and selfless.
Community leaders and elders present commended the Confidence Sisters Club for setting a standard of grassroots empowerment and social responsibility. Many noted that within just one year of existence, CSC has distinguished itself as a beacon of hope for the downtrodden.
The first anniversary celebration of Confidence Sisters Club was not merely a ceremony; it was a reaffirmation of the club’s commitment to uplifting lives, strengthening community bonds, and fostering a culture of generosity across Delta State.
Indeed, CSC has proven that when women unite with purpose, communities prosper.
