The students urged companies such as Chevron, NPDC, SPDC, Elcrest, OML 40, Sahara Energy, among others, to invest more in education through the construction of schools, provision of classroom furniture, establishment of ICT centres, and expansion of scholarship opportunities.
The association also called on the governments of Delta and Edo States to prioritize the establishment of higher institutions and the construction of modern educational facilities in Egbema communities, stressing that such development is essential for the future of the youth.
As part of efforts to strengthen its structure, the congress inaugurated a five-member Constitution Drafting Committee, mandated to submit its report within three weeks.
The event ended on a note of unity and renewed commitment among members to advance the interests of Egbema students worldwide.
