The Ijaw Publishers Forum (IPF), Ijaw People's Development Initiative, IPDI, and other stakeholders have passed a vote of confidence in Dr. Dennis Otuaro, Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), marks two years of his visionary leadership.
According to the stakeholders, Otuaro's two years' tenure has been marked by significant reforms, including institutional upgrades, increase in foreign scholarship, youth empowerment, and peacebuilding initiatives in the Niger Delta region.
The IPF commended Otuaro for reinstating vital programs such as foreign scholarships, marine training, and vocational training, benefiting over 2,000 students and ex-agitators. His collaborative approach has fostered community and stakeholders involvement and support for the amnesty initiative.
