Abuja, Nigeria - The Nigeria Police Force has announced the Retirement of Deputy Inspector-General of Police, DIG Frank Mba, who honourably served the Nation for 34 years. Mba, who held the pivotal position of Training and Development at Force Headquarters, has Relinquished his Duties, marking the end of a distinguished Career.
A 1992 Graduate of the Nigeria Police Academy, Kano, where he Excelled as the Best Cadet in Academics, Mba has left an indelible Mark on the Force. His illustrious Career spans Multiple roles, including Force Public Relations Officer and Lagos State Police Command Spokesman.
In a Valedictory Statement, Mba expressed Profound Gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Nigerian people for the Opportunity to Serve. "I am deeply honoured to have Contributed to the Nation's Security and stability," he said.
Mba's Departure Comes in the Wake of recent Changes in the Nigeria Police Force Leadership, following the Retirement of Former Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and the Appointment of IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu. His Retirement is a Significant loss to the Force, but his Legacy will undoubtedly continue to inspire future generations of Police Officers.
