IJAW PEOPLE IZON BIBI WORLDWIDE , IJAW NATION Ijaw people (also known by the subgroups " Ijo " or " Izon ") are a collection of peoples indigenous to the Niger Delta in Nigeria , inhabiting regions of the states of Ondo , Bayelsa , Delta , Edo , Akwa Ibom and Rivers .
