IPDI CONDEMNS UNRELENTING ATTACKS ON DR. GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN .
It is not only ridiculous but utterly shameful the unrelenting coordinated attacks on former president, Dr.goodluck Ebele Jonathan and his family by government officials and their hireling right from day that it came into power 3years ago. Is either president muhammadu Buhari media spokespersons are pointing accusing fingers at Dr.Goodluck Jonathan on how Nigeria's was looted blind under his nose, or vice president, professor "pastor" Yemi Osinbajo who know see insulting former president at every slightest given opportunity as a means of regaining relevance in a government that he has become onlooker courtesy of a cabal at the corridor of power. We find it so insulting that vice president has no lota of respect for the institution that Dr.Goodluck Jonathan represents. If we may ask, can professor yemi Osinbajo address former president Olusegun Obasanjo in the flippant and reckless manners that he has been attacking Dr. Goodluck Jonathan ?, or is it because Dr.Goodluck Jonathan is from the minority . All manners of accusations has been levelled against former president, and up to this point none has been proved , rather it always remain in the jankara realm where concoction of "facts", propaganda and blackmail to achieve sinister goal reign supreme. Last week, vice president sermonized on how certain billions got lost, now another figures of money were being said to have been siphoned by Dr.Goodluck and some of the people that worked with him prior to 2015 elections. The central bank governor that presidency source accused of supervising the sharing of the said money in 2015 that is being bandies about, is still the one holding forth up to this moment at the apex bank. So why has government of the day not disengage his service since he worked with corrupt government, which automatically made him to be corrupt . The truth of the matter is that this government is just chasing shadow having run short of what governance is all about , and shouting corruption it believe will divert the attention of Nigerians who are on a daily basis yarning for the fulfillment of apc electoral promises. We advice professor yemi Osinbajo to seat down with his boss on how to find solutions to boko haram activities, hunger, headsmen menace, religious intolerance, ethnic crisis and corruption tearing the country apart instead of embarking on fruitless campaign of calumny against a man whose international profile keep rising on a daily basis beyond envious imagination.
Signed,
Comrade Daniel Ezekiel,
Spokesperson, ijaw people's development initiative (ipdi).
