Egware Lauds Isoko North Chairman, Ogorugba For Approving Emevor Road Rehabilitation,

Dr. Nelson Egware, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Media, has lauded the Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council, Hon. (Elder) Godwin Ogorugba, for his dedication to infrastructural development, particularly the recent approval for the rehabilitation of the Police Station Road in Emevor. 

During the Isoko North Executive Council meeting held yesterday, several key projects were approved, highlighting the administrationโ€™s commitment to community development. 

Among the notable projects are the construction of 60 open shops at Otor-Owhe Main Market, installation of solar street lights at the Council Secretariat, financial assistance for indigenes with critical health conditions, and the immediate employment of a victim of Fulani herdsmen violence from the Uruamudhu community in Ozoro, whose fingers were severed during an attack. 

Furthermore, the council approved various empowerment initiatives, including financial aid for women, provision of farming tools, and agricultural inputs to enhance productivity in the agricultural sector. 

Following the Executive Meeting, Engr. Thomas Akpoedafe, Supervisor of Agriculture and Community Development, alongside Comr. Alebe Joshua, Supervisor of Environment, emphasized the importance of the approved road rehabilitation projects. 

These projects include the rehabilitation of Etevie Community Road, Ogbor Lane in Ozoro, the Ozoro axis of the Owhelogbo-Ozoro Road, Uruto Community Road, Emevor Police Station Road, and three streets within Owhelogbo Grammar School. 

In a statement released in Asaba on Friday, Egware described these projects as crucial to the socio-economic growth of Isoko North. 

He acknowledged Hon. Ogorugbaโ€™s leadership and commitment to the well-being of the people, stating that the initiatives would enhance accessibility, boost economic activities, and improve the quality of life for residents. 

The rehabilitation of the Police Station Road in Emevor, in particular, has been met with widespread appreciation from the community, as it will improve security infrastructure and ease transportation challenges in the area. 

Egware reiterated his support for the councilโ€™s development agenda and encouraged continued efforts to uplift communities across Isoko North. 

Egware further added that the commitment of Hon. Ogorugba and his administration to infrastructural growth and humanitarian assistance, in line with the MORE Agenda of the Oborevwori administration, demonstrates the positive impact of responsive governance in Delta State.
