Commemorative Fabric in Honour of His Royal Majesty Omo n'Oba n'Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Erediauwa I. He reigned from 1979 – 2016. An inscription along the outer edge of the oval reads: OMO N’OBA N’EDO UKU AKPOLOKPOLO ‘ OBA EREDIAUWA ‘ 1979 – 2016. The late king is shown wearing glasses and a crown, necklace and tunic (partial view) of coral beads. The cloth’s background of black net-like linear patterns is echoed by larger format white linear motifs bordered by gold circles edged in black and with black centers. These linear patterns frame repeat red oval designs with a heraldic motif outlined in white of a leopard, bird of prey, elephant, and crossed state swords (eben) above the inscription MY GOD, MY RIGHT. Smaller-format repeat patterns of royal regalia – crossed gold-colored stated swords below a red and white crown – further enliven the design of the cloth. BREAKING: The High Court of Delta State has issued an ex-parte injunction stopping and barring the Inspector General of Police and the Nigeria Police Force from resuming the enforcement of the tinted glass permit policy nationwide.

BREAKING: The High Court of Delta State has issued an ex-parte injunction stopping and barring the Inspector General of Police and the Nigeria Police Force from resuming the enforcement of the tinted glass permit policy nationwide. The order was issued on Wednesday, 17th December, 2025 by Hon. Justice Joe Egwu. The High Court also barred the police from harassing, arresting, detaining or extorting citizens and motorists on account of the said policy. The order will subsist pending the hearing and determination of the substantive suit. This latest injunction follows a suit filed in Delta State by the Applicant, a citizen by name Mr. Israel Joe. The Applicant was represented in court by a team of lawyers led by Kunle Edun, SAN. By this order, the announcement made by the Nigeria Police on its decision to resume the tinted glass permit enforcement on 2nd January, 2026 has been halted by the Court.

Justice Emeka Nwite, in a ruling, refused the motion ex parte filed by a former Deputy National Chairman of the ADC, Nafiu-Bala Gombe, holding that granting such an application without hearing from the other parties would amount to overreaching. “I have listened to the submission of the learned counsel for the applicant and have also gone through the affidavit evidence with exhibits thereto along with the written address,” the judge said.
