The Egbema Kingdom chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), under the Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State, recently convened a critical stakeholders' inclusive meeting at the prestigious Royal Park Hotel in Warri Town. The meeting, attended by a broad spectrum of APC members and leaders, aimed to foster unity, resolve internal differences, and strengthen the kingdom's political framework in preparation for the 2027 general elections.

The gathering was presided over by Elder Edmund D. Tiemo, a prominent figure in Egbema politics and the Chairman of the Egbema Leaders of Thought (ELOT). In the opening remarks,  by Pastor Dr.Philip Gbasin Elder Tiemo underscored the importance of unity within the party, emphasizing that collective effort is indispensable for advancing the interests of Egbema Kingdom within Delta State’s political terrain. He further called on all party members to put aside differences and work collaboratively to ensure the growth and success of the APC in the region.
A major highlight of the meeting was the strategic brainstorming session, during which party members deliberated on ways to enhance the kingdom's political influence. Key issues, including reconciling differences among party members, building a cohesive leadership structure, and improving grassroots mobilization, were discussed extensively. Elder Tiemo expressed optimism that a united front would not only strengthen the APC in the kingdom but also position Egbema as a significant force in the forthcoming elections.
In a show of solidarity and recognition, stakeholders unanimously endorsed Chief Promise Lawuru as the national leader representing Egbema Kingdom. Other prominent party leaders were also acknowledged for their invaluable contributions to the party's growth and cohesion. These leaders were tasked with driving the vision of a stronger, more inclusive APC in Egbema Kingdom.
The meeting brought together a wide array of participants, including senior APC leaders, influential politicians, respected clergy, successful businessmen, and dynamic youth leaders. Their collective presence underscored the diverse support base of the APC within Egbema Kingdom. Each group pledged unwavering commitment to building a vibrant and united political framework that would advance the kingdom's interests and provide a platform for meaningful development.
Attendees highlighted the importance of reconciliation and inclusivity in fostering a unified party capable of delivering on its promises to the people of Egbema Kingdom. They also reiterated their readiness to mobilize resources and manpower to support APC candidates in the 2027 elections, ensuring that the kingdom remains a key player in Delta State’s political landscape.
During his remarks, Elder Tiemo emphasized the importance of solidarity, saying: “Our cordial relationship as Egbemans must serve as the foundation for playing inclusive politics and bringing sustainable development to our kingdom. As with any gathering of two or more individuals, differences are inevitable—but what matters most is our collective ability to resolve those differences and move forward as one family.”
He extended heartfelt appreciation to all stakeholders and invited guests who honored his invitation, describing their presence as a strong testament to their shared commitment to the peace, unity, and advancement of Egbema land.

In closing, Elder Tiemo thanked all stakeholders for their attendance and active participation, urging them to carry the message of unity and progress back to their respective communities. He called on everyone to maintain the momentum and dedication displayed during the meeting, emphasizing that the future of Egbema Kingdom depends on the collective efforts of its people.

The stakeholders’ meeting served as a significant milestone in the journey towards a more unified and empowered Egbema Kingdom APC, setting the stage for greater political engagement and development in the region.

A vote of confidence was passed in honor of High Chief Promise Lawuru, the national APC stalwart from Egbema Kingdom, for the maturity and leadership he has consistently displayed. The motion was moved by Comrade Gemuge, and was seconded by Comrade J. Moses.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Chief Ebi Eyemi, who expressed gratitude to all participants for their unwavering dedication to the future of Egbema Kingdom.
