Niger Delta Youth Leader Mingo Celebrates NDDC MD/CEO DR. Samuel Ogbuku at 50, Urges Action on Abandoned Udo-Ofunama Road

The Niger Delta Youth Leader, Comrade Mingo Meshach Sayami Ogumaka, has felicitated with the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), MD/CEO Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, on the occasion of his 50th birthday anniversary today.
In his goodwill message from the oldest throne of Southern Nigeria — the Egbema Kingdom, with its traditional headquarters in Ajakurama Town, Ovia South-West Local Government Area of Edo State — Mingo described Dr. Ogbuku as “one of the finest Ijaw-blooded leaders to head the NDDC after Hon. Timi Ala-Ebi.”
According to Mingo, under Ogbuku’s leadership, the NDDC has become “more vibrant and widely recognized, even in the remotest parts of Egbema Kingdom.”
On your golden jubilee, on behalf of the good people of Egbema Kingdom and the entire Edo State Ijaw nation, I celebrate you. I pray for renewed strength, divine blessings, and greater protection as you continue to serve humanity,” Mingo said.
He further called on the NDDC boss to dedicate his milestone celebration to addressing the long-abandoned Udo-Ofunama Road project in Egbema Kingdom.
According to the Holy Bible, a good seed is one that germinates. On this blessed 50th birthday, I urge you to sow that seed of development by using your good office to revive the Udo-Ofunama Road. The people of Egbema, Olodiama, and Okomu Kingdoms have been suffering because this road — already awarded by the NDDC — has remained abandoned for years. It was not your administration that abandoned it, but as a blessed son of the Ijaw nation, your leadership qualities can bring this road back to life,” Mingo appealed.
He concluded by joining the “flourishing people of the Niger Delta region” in wishing Dr. Ogbuku a joyful and impactful golden jubilee celebration.
