Egbema Youths Council: Cautions Isoko's Youth Group (ISOPLOT,)

....... Demands Immediate Implementation of Supreme Court-Ordered Delineation,

By EgbemaVoice,

The Egbema Youth Council (EYC) Worldwide, the Apex Youth Body in the Egbema Kingdom, strongly condemns the publication by a group known as the Isoko Political Youth Leaders of Thought (ISOPLOT), which called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to suspend or cancel the already concluded delineation exercise in the Warri Federal Constituency.

In a statement signed by Barr. Amatelemowei A. Sode, President General of (EYC) Worldwide, the Council described the call as misleading, divisive, and politically motivated, designed solely to stall a legitimate, court-ordered process.

The Supreme Court of Nigeria clearly mandated the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct a fresh delineation of wards and polling units, a directive INEC is now faithfully executing.

EYC therefore commends INEC for upholding its constitutional responsibility and urges it to resist pressure from elements seeking to retain an outdated and unjust electoral structure.

The Egbema Kingdom, like many other marginalized areas in Delta South, has suffered decades of political exclusion. The current delineation process aims to right these wrongs, promote fair representation, and enhance democratic equity not to stir ethnic conflict as falsely portrayed by ISOPLOT.

It is imperative to state that the Isoko people are not part of Warri Federal constituency therefore does not have the right whatsoever to make comments capable of causing crisis.
We therefore firmly warns ISOPLOT and similar groups to refrain from inciting ethnic tension and instead support due process and lawful resolutions.

True peace and unity in Delta South lie in justice, inclusion, and equal representation for all ethnic groups.

We call on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, INEC, and all relevant security agencies to remain focused and allow the full implementation of the Supreme Court’s directive without delay or interference.
