Today marked a significant milestone in the aviation history of Delta State as a high-powered delegation representing the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Hon. Barr. Festus Keyamo, SAN, witness the inaugural Rano Air flight from Abuja to Warri at the Osubi Airport.
Among the distinguished guests were Dr. Maurice Ojo-Ede, CEO of Kinging Logistics and Automobile Ltd and Founder of the OMO Foundation, Olorogun Voke Oshasha, Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace, and Alhaji Lawan Sabi Bankinzuwo, Chief Operational Manager of Rano Air. The delegation was warmly received by the Airport Manager, Chief Winston Ifeacho Egwuatu, and his dedicated management team.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Ojo-Ede expressed his satisfaction with the launch of Rano Air's operations in Warri, noting that this development would spur economic growth and create job opportunities for Deltans. He extended heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State, for fostering a business-friendly environment that encourages investment and infrastructure development.
Dr. Ojo-Ede also commended the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace, Barr. Festus Keyamo, SAN, for his transformative work in the ministry and for entrusting him and the delegation with the honour of representing the Minister at such a historic occasion.
