Egbema Kingdom Reacts as Her Finest Turns a Year Older

The Egbema Kingdom, spanning Edo and Delta States, joined in grand celebration as her young hero and pride of the Niger Delta, High Chief Promise Lawuru, the Ozigizaga of Africa, marked his birthday anniversary on 1st October.

Across the Niger Delta, the internet turned colourful with images and tributes of the celebrant, as friends, associates, and admirers flooded social media with heartfelt wishes, prayers, and commendations for his unwavering love for the Egbema Kingdom and the Ijaw Nation.

The good wishes described him as a man of the people, one who has sacrificed immensely for the growth and development of the Niger Delta. Chief Promise Lawuru was hailed as a true hero, grassroots politician, and a national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State.

In its reaction, EgbemaVoice News lauded Chief Promise Lawuru as the “Niger Delta Man of the Year 2025”, ranking him among the top icons celebrated by the Kingdom’s premier news outfit.

The media organization further prayed for more strength, blessings, and divine protection upon the life of High Chief Promise Lawuru as he continues in his noble service to humanity and to God Almighty.

INEC’s Director of Voter Education and Publicity, Victoria Eta-Messi, confirmed the development on Saturday to our correspondent, stating that the matter has been escalated to the Office of the National Security Adviser. “This matter was brought to the attention of the NSA.
