TINTED GLASS PERMIT
SUIT NO. FHC/WR/CS/103/2025: JOHN AIKPOKPO-MARTINS V. INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE (2) NIG. POLICE FORCE .
We were in Court today. Federal High Court sitting at Warri has just made an order directing the Nigeria Police Force and the Inspector General of Police to maintain status quo and respect the processes of Court.

Barr. Kunle Edun, SAN appeared before the court to argue out the need for Nigeria Police Force to maintain the Status quo by staying actions of the enforcement of the tinted Glass permit policy which started yesterday.

The Court granted the order and also directed the Police to appear before it to defend their policy as regards the constitutionality and legality of such a policy.

We hereby call on the police to immediately halt the enforcement of this order already being used as a means of extortion. A law enforcement institution should not be seen as the major institution breaking the law.
