Egbema Youth Political Forum Demands Unity, Backs Warri Delineation Report, Withdraws Support for Omosede Igbinedion,___ Barr Baidi

The Egbema Youth Political Forum (EGYPF), under the leadership of Barr. Ebigbagha S. Baidi, held a strategic meeting in Sapele on May 30, 2026, where youths from Egbema Kingdom in both Edo and Delta States deliberated on key political issues affecting the kingdom.
The forum commended kingdom leaders for their commitment to advancing Egbema's political interests and called for greater unity among leaders and youths across both states.
The youths also applauded INEC for releasing the final ward delineation report for the Warri Federal Constituency and urged its full implementation, while appealing to all parties to accept the outcome in good faith.
Furthermore, the forum resolved to oppose any political decision deemed contrary to the interests of Egbema Kingdom. The youths also announced the withdrawal of their support for Hon. Barr. Omosede Igbinedion's re-election bid for the House of Representatives, citing concerns over her public remarks regarding the proposed Toru-Ibe State creation.
The meeting ended with a renewed commitment to protecting and advancing the political interests of Egbema Kingdom.

EGBEMA YOUTH POLITICAL FORUM (EGYPF) UNDER THE CHAMPIONSHIP OF BARR. EBIGBAGHA S. BAIDI, BL,LL.B MET IN SAPELE ON THE 30TH DAY OF MAY, 2026 AND EXTENSIVELY DISCUSSED ISSUES AFFECTING THE KINGDOM POLITICALLY.
The meeting was fruitful as youths in the Egbema kingdom from Edo and Delta States met and extensively discussed political issues affecting the good people of the Kingdom.
The youths express their profound appreciation to the leaders in the kingdom for their unwavering commitment in advancing the kingdom politically.
The following resolutions were unanimously reached.
1. The Youths in the Kingdom call for unity among the leaders and youths in Edo and Delta States.
2. The youths commend the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for releasing the final report of the Ward delineation in Warri Federal Constituency and also call on the commission for full implementation. The youths appeal to all aggrieved parties to accept the report in good fate.
3. The youths resolved to collectively resist any political decision that is not in the interest of the kingdom.
4. The youths further resolve to withdraw their total support from Hon. Barr. Omosede Igbinedion who is re-contesting for the House of Representatives seat in the forthcoming general elections to represent the good people of Egbema Kingdom in Ovia South West Local Government Area of Edo State and other Ijaw Kingdoms in the State over her unguided public statement made against the Ijaws on the proposed creation of Toru-Ibe Sate. That any youth caught in doing contrary to this collective decision will be decisively dealt with.
