In a statement made available to journalists, Ambassador Festus Kin Pere described the final approval and release of the delineation exercise, including the creation of additional polling units, wards, and constituencies within the Warri Federal Constituency, as a significant milestone in strengthening democratic representation and electoral fairness in the region.
He noted that the successful implementation of the exercise reflects the commitment of the Federal Government, INEC, and relevant stakeholders to upholding the rule of law and ensuring equitable political participation for all communities within the constituency.
The youth leader particularly acknowledged the leadership roles played by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, INEC, Tompolo, and Hon. Emmanuel Omoko (Alhaji), whose efforts, according to him, helped promote peace, dialogue, and constructive engagement throughout the process.
Ambassador Festus Kin Pere also extended appreciation to traditional rulers, community leaders, youth organizations, women groups, and stakeholders across the three ethnic nationalities in Warri Federal Constituency for their sacrifices, patience, understanding, and commitment to maintaining peace during the exercise.
According to him, the peaceful disposition demonstrated by the various groups contributed immensely to the successful completion of the delineation process and serves as a model for conflict resolution and community development in the Niger Delta region.
He urged all parties to embrace the outcome of the exercise in good faith and continue to work together for the peace, unity, and sustainable development of Warri Federal Constituency and the Niger Delta at large.
Ambassador Festus Kin Pere further called on political leaders, community stakeholders, and residents to remain law-abiding and support initiatives that promote inclusiveness, justice, and progress for all communities.
He expressed optimism that the newly approved polling units, wards, and constituencies would enhance democratic participation, improve representation, and foster greater socio-economic development across the region.
"This approval marks a new chapter in the political and democratic advancement of Warri Federal Constituency. We commend all those who played vital roles in ensuring the successful completion of this historic exercise and urge continued unity among all ethnic nationalities for the collective good of the region," he stated.
