2023: Oborevwori gets 6th Court Case Victory Against Busy Body Litigants.

...Urges Party Faithfuls, Supporters To Sustain Sheriffication Steam In Delta.

By Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe Esq

One after the other, busy body litigants are counting their loses as the Gubernatorial Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, continue to swim in multifaceted Court cases victories after governorship party primaries.

On Friday 17th June, 2022, a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, dismissed Suit No: FHC/CS/78/2022, brought before it by plaintiffs; Engr Ojie Victor Ubianuju and Maize And Associates Farmers, against the Defendants; Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, the Peoples Democratic Party and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

The Court in its wisdom and in line with extant Laws and relevant Sections of the Electoral Act, 2022, threw out the case on the ground that the busy body litigants lacks locos standi.

It follows that the Plaintiffs acted in grave error by bringing the law suit before the Court which had no jurisdiction to adjudicate on it. They are legally not competent to institute the action against the defendants.

Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, won the keenly contested governorship primary, adjudged to be one of the freest, transparent, fair and credible since 1999 Democratic processes cum party primaries in the state.

However, some individuals approached the Courts with frivolous actions not within the contemplation of the Electoral Act 2022 and other subsisting Laws.

So far, six of such baseless matters have been dismissed with cost in favour of the Defendants; Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, the Peoples Democratic Party and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

Oborevwori while reacting to the 6th Court Case victory, urged his teeming supporters and party faithfuls to sustain the political steam and drum up the sheriffication momentum before, during and after landslide victory in 2023.

"We shall continue to win because our God is the Alpha and Omega, still on His throne. We give Him praise and adoration.

"The Judiciary has also lived up to their constitutional duties and we give God all the glory," he said.

Egbesu worshippers, what is Asawana

izonbibiworldwide.wordpress.com WHAT IS ASAWANA?* Ijaw Religious and Cultural Studies *By Apostle Bodmas P. Kemepadei, Son of God* This is associated to " *Egbesu Worship*", although, the word itself, is a corrupted version of the root word " *Ossain/Assain Weni-gha?*", which prompts a response of " *Weni-ghe!*" meaning, *it will move and go with us or be potent*. *Assain*, also *Ossain* means, *Oracle, Amulet or Cosmic Energy related to a supernatural entity or deity*. Today, the word *Ossain* or *Assain-wenigha* has been degenerated into " *Asawana*", a new word entirely, created from the existing old one. The word is a very powerful chant that invokes the divine forces (supernatural presence, light or powers) of " *Egbesu*", as cosmic energy or light of the spiritual nature which helps one to express his/her higher consciousness, thereby liberating the mind from negative thinking; as it instills in the adherents, courage, deter...

JUST IN: Court reject bid to halt David Mark _ Led ADC's convention progresses  By EgbemaVoice, The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Friday, declined an application seeking to restrain the African Democratic Congress, led by Senator David Mark, from holding conventions, congresses or meetings to elect or ratify members of its executive bodies and other party structures. Justice Emeka Nwite, in a ruling, refused the motion ex parte filed by a former Deputy National Chairman of the ADC, Nafiu-Bala Gombe, holding that granting such an application without hearing from the other parties would amount to overreaching. “I have listened to the submission of the learned counsel for the applicant and have also gone through the affidavit evidence with exhibits thereto along with the written address,” the judge said. Justice Nwite noted that the court had earlier, on September 4, 2025, ordered the defendants to show cause why an interim order restraining them from acting as leaders of the...

THE LAND HAS ALWAYS BEEN IJAW LONG BEFORE EDO ONDO AND DELTA

THE LAND HAS ALWAYS BEEN IJAW LONG BEFORE EDO ONDO AND DELTA IT'S NOT COINCIDENCE THAT EVERY HISTORIAN WHO WROTE ABOUT BENIN ARE SAYING THE SAME THING IN DIFFERENT WORDS. IJAWS FORM THE BASIS OF BENIN CITY AND PLAYED A SIGNIFICANT ROLE IN MAKING UP THE BENIN ETHNIC GROUP WITHOUT BEING FULLY ASSIMILATED INTO BENIN. First let's take a glance on The great Benin historian, Chief Jacob Uwadiae Egharevba (1893-1981): "...Many many years ago the benins Came all the way from Egypt to found a more secured shelter in this part of the world after a short stay in Sudan and at Ile-Ife..." In his book, A Short History of Benin Kingdom, made it crystal and emphatically clear that the Binis met human inhabitants  when they escaped from Ile Ife. Chief Jacob Egharevba demonstrably pontificated that the Binis came across several rivers and streams and met people whose daily livelihood was tied to these rivers and streams. These people are the Ijaws and, according to Chief Eg...
