Ajakurama Youth council, (AYC), has Congratulated the newly installed traditional ruler of Egbema kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Bini Pere, The IV, HRM, Meshach Ubabiri, as the  Agadagba of Egbema kingdom, Ovia south west, Warri North local Government Area of Delta and Edo states, at the traditional headquarters of Egbema kingdom, Ajakurama town, the congratulatory message partly reads,

AJAKURAMA YOUTH COUNCIL

I will like to congratulate all sons and daughters of Egbema, and the blessed host, Ajakurama, for the successful installation of the Agadagba of Egbema, HRM Meshach E. Ubabiri, Bini Pere IV.
Unbehalf of the executive council of Ajakurama youth council, I want to appreciate all the youths of our great community, wherever you are, for the great show of maturity, virtue, and cooperation all through out the period of the traditional rites and installation process, even with all the inconveniences and discomfort that comes with the times of curfew and Ogele.
Through out this period , there was no break down of law and order,  as all Ajakurama youths were on their best behavior and were very hospitable and caring to other visiting communities. Many people left the comfort of their room in other to give rooms to visitors, to such emulable hospitality I duff my hat.
I specially want to thank ELOT for steering the wheels of Egbema leadership to this applaudable achievement. History will be kind to ELOT for standing against injustice and the attempted subversion of our tradition.
Many thanks goes to Egbema peace keeping force, Tantita security, the Nigerian Army, and all ex-agitators for their effort towards peace and stability in Egbema.
Let it be known and well documented on the pages of history and tell it to your children, that it was in OUR TIME that a united Egbema became possible and in our unity we chose the path of progress and honour.
None of these would have been possible without the grace of the Almighty God, the king of kings, for in His time He make all things beautiful ( eccl 3:11). All glory and majesty belongs to Him alone.

Congratulations to all Ajakurama youths
Long live the King.

Felix Gabriel Oyinghan
President Ajakurama youth council

The Chairman Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) Headquarters FCT-ABUJA Dear Sir, AN OPEN LETTER: A WAKE UP CALL TO EFCC ON DELTA STATE'S MISSING N1.3 TRILLION 13% OIL DERIVATION FUNDS This open letter arises from the continued silence by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on the N1.3 trillion of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission's (DESOPADEC) funds that was unlawfully diverted by the former governor of Delta State, Sen. Editorial: The Return of Military Coups in Africa — Causes and Consequences of a Growing Trend Written by comrade Mingo M.S. Ogumaka, EgbemaVoice Editorial Board, In recent years, Africa has witnessed a disturbing resurgence of military coups — a phenomenon many believed had been buried in the continent’s political past. The question arises: What is fueling this dangerous wave of military takeovers in Africa? 1. Broken Governance and the Collapse of Trust At the heart of the current coup epidemic lies a crisis of governance. Across many African states, citizens have grown weary of corrupt and incompetent civilian administrations that fail to deliver basic social and econom...

BREAKING NEWS: 𝐍𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐝𝐢 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐮 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲,

Hours after a protest demanding his release, detained leader of the outlawed IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, made a dramatic turn on Tuesday, declaring readiness to open his defence in the ongoing terrorism trial at the Federal High Court, Abuja.   The protest, which was led in parts of Abuja by the presidential candidate of the AAC in the 2023 elections, Omoyele Sowore, recorded low turnout across the country as residents largely shunned the call for mass action.     In a fresh motion he personally filed on Tuesday, October 21, Kanu assured the court that he was prepared to begin his defence "pursuant to the order of this honourable court made on the 16th day of October 2015, directing the defendant to commence his defence on the 24th day of October 2025."   Kanu informed the court, presided by Justice James Omotosho, of his plan to call a total of 23 witnesses divided into two categories. The first category, he said, would be those he called "ordinary but material w...
