Hon. Francis Ejiroghene Waive, a Nigerian priest and politician representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, recently faced an incident involving representatives of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) from the three regions.

According to reports from the CAN delegation reportedly walked away after waiting for Hon. Waive for an hour and 30 minutes during a meeting. Despite his attempts to apologize and plead with the pastors, they left, feeling provoked by the delay.

Hon. Waive, who founded the Church of the Anointing in Warri in 1997 and serves as Chairman of the Committee on Rules and Business in the House, has not publicly addressed the incident. It remains to be seen if further clarifications or resolutions will emerge from this development.
