The Egbema Youth Council (EYC) is set to hold its long-anticipated election to usher in a new executive leadership on Saturday, 26th April 2025. The event will take place at the Ofunama Community Town Hall, located in Ovia Southwest Local Government Area of Edo State. This election marks a very vital moment for the youth of Egbema Kingdom, as it offers an opportunity to chart a new course for progress, unity, and development.

Phar. Agagha Humphrey, Chairman of the Electoral Committee, announced the details of the election through the Committee's Secretary, Mr. Ugulapelewei Ezekiel, earlier this week. He emphasized that preparations are in full swing, with every effort being made to ensure the electoral process is seamless, free, fair, and credible. According to him, the committee is committed to fulfilling its mandate and has already made significant strides in mobilizing the necessary resources and logistics to guarantee a successful outcome.

The Electoral Committee extended an open invitation to all youths and stakeholders of Egbema Kingdom, urging them to attend and actively participate in this important democratic process. “This is a moment for every youth in Egbema to stand up and contribute to the future of our kingdom. We need everyone’s presence and cooperation to make this a success,” Phar. Humphrey stated.

Furthermore, the committee made a heartfelt appeal to individuals, organizations, and stakeholders for financial support to aid the smooth execution of the election. “Organizing an event of this magnitude requires resources, and we are counting on the goodwill and generosity of well-meaning individuals to help us achieve our goal,” the Chairman added.
