The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, led a distinguished delegation of dignitaries from the Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom to honor the legacy of Papa Clark. Their presence underscored the immense impact the late elder statesman had on the Niger Delta and the country at large.
Prominent leaders from across the region gathered to pay tribute, including the President of the Ijaw National Congress (INC), Prof. Benjamin Okaba; Ambassador Godknows Igali; the PANDEF Chairman; Dr. Dennis Burutu Otuaro Administrator presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), President of the Ijaw Publishers Forum, Comrade Austin Ozobo; President of Ajakurama Development Initiative, Comrade Mingo Meshach Saya Ogumaka; Ambassador Joel Bisina; Chief Tunde Smooth; Comrade Eric Omare; and Chief Vero Triple Chief. Their eulogies reflected on his lifelong dedication to the fight for the rights and development of the Niger Delta region and the Ijaw nation.
Senator Chief Dr. Edwin Clark was remembered as a man of vision and wisdom, whose leadership transcended generational boundaries.
