Death of student not related to High Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro PhD.
By EgbemaVoice,
Amb. Gen Silas Toruwei JP.LL clearly distances High Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro, PhD, from the unfortunate death of a 100 Level Business Administration, Miss Favour Benama Godswill student at Igbinedion University, Okada (IUO).
I wish to state categorically that High Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro PhD has no involvement or connection to the incident, either directly or indirectly her death is still receiving investigation, I strongly pray that God Almighty grants the family the strength, comfort, and peace to bear the painful loss of their beloved daughter at the university. May he surround them with love, uphold them in this difficult time, and give them the grace to heal.
Attempts to link High Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro, PhD, the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, to the unfortunate incident are baseless, misleading, and malicious, clearly aimed at tarnishing his reputation according to available reports, the girl tragically died in a hotel, and the matter allegedly involves a Chemistry lecturer at the university not the Administrator.
The deceased, a young lady from Bayelsa State, according to her close friend and sister, reportedly went to a hotel with a staff member of the university, who may have been attempting to take advantage of her, leading to her tragic death. Linking this heartbreaking incident to the Presidential Amnesty Office or suggesting that delayed payments caused her death is completely false, misleading, and unfair.
Such claims not only misdirect public attention from the real issue but also attempt to wrongly drag the Amnesty Office and its Administrator, High Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro PhD, into a matter they have no connection with.
The focus should remain on ensuring that justice is served, and those directly involved are properly investigated by the appropriate authorities. I urge the public to allow the relevant authorities to conduct a proper investigation and avoid spreading false narratives that distract from the truth and cause further pain to the grieving family.
