The 1999 Delta State Traditional Council of Chiefs Edict, as well as the 1979 Bendel State Traditional Rulers and Chiefs Edict B.S.L.N 44, formally recognize the Amaokosu of OGBE IJOH as the legitimate authority over OGBE IJOH lands and people within the Warri metropolis, specifically referencing the OGBE IJOH monarch, who resides in Warri South LGA. Since 2006, they have attempted to manipulate the system to our detriment, primarily due to them occupying the seat of power. According to Segun, the missing funds are cash calls requested by joint venture (JV) partners and settlement to the JVs. He spoke on Wednesday at a session of the Senate Committee on Public Accounts chaired by Aliyu Wadada.
