Niger Delta youth leader, Comrade Mingo Meshach Sayami, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Director General of the Delta State Orientation and Communications Bureau, Dr. Barr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, on his recent honor by the Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management (CIISM).

The award ceremony, held on Friday in Abuja, recognized Dr. Oghenesivbe with the Professional Excellence and Leadership Award, celebrating his exceptional contributions to strategic communication, governance, and public enlightenment in Delta State.

Comrade Mingo described the recognition as “not only well-deserved but also a clear testament to Dr. Oghenesivbe’s tireless commitment to transparency, accountability, and effective leadership.” He noted that the Director General’s work in reshaping public orientation and promoting positive values among citizens continues to set high standards for public service.

Dr. Oghenesivbe has consistently demonstrated that leadership is about service, integrity, and impact. His achievements at the helm of the Delta State Orientation and Communications Bureau are a source of pride, particularly for us in the Niger Delta, where youth are constantly looking for role models who embody excellence and vision,” Comrade Mingo stated.

He further commended Dr. Oghenesivbe for his efforts in bridging communication gaps between government and the people, advancing policy awareness, and fostering unity among Deltans through inclusive programs.

This award is proof that diligence and sincerity in public service do not go unnoticed. I encourage other leaders to emulate his style of leadership, which prioritizes people, progress, and peace,” he added.

Comrade Mingo also prayed for Dr. Oghenesivbe’s continued success, good health, and greater opportunities to contribute to the growth and development of Delta State and Nigeria at large.
